Community Engagement

You can make a difference.

At Western Resilience Center, we believe climate action starts with connection. Whether you’re a resident, student, business, local government, or nonprofit, our work supports your ability to engage with meaningful climate solutions. From monthly community meetings to volunteer programs, internships, and educational events, we help people across the Yampa Valley build knowledge and take action.

Why It Matters

When people come together, big things happen. Every workshop, tree planting, or newsletter is part of building a healthier and more resilient community. Our work is only made possible by the community we tap into.

How We Engage

Our engagement work includes everything from civic forums and speaker series to internships, training, and youth programs. We foster local leadership and aim to activate every person and institution in the Yampa Valley to work for climate solutions.

We reduce emissions and build resilience through programs, partnerships, projects, and planning.
