Artist Information

How It Works

Local artists are invited to submit original works that help empower the community to take action in the face of a warming climate, connecting to ideas about what is at stake and how we can have insightful conversations and make a positive difference.

Selected pieces will be displayed in a public exhibit at the Historic Depot Art Center alongside short artist statements and broader climate education.

All artwork will be available for purchase, with 25% of sales benefiting the artists, and the remaining proceeds will support Western Resilience Center’s mission to build a sustainable and resilient Yampa Valley region.

Three framed artworks are displayed on small easels on a white-covered table against a wooden wall. The pieces feature a river scene, a rural landscape with a hay bale, and a stylized tree with a crescent moon.
