Yampa Basin Rendezvous

The Yampa Basin Rendezvous (YBR) is an annual gathering that brings together scientists, land managers, policymakers, educators, and community members to explore the challenges and opportunities facing the Yampa River Basin. Each year, the event offers a mix of presentations, panel discussions, and place-based experiences that ground scientific understanding in the lived realities of Northwest Colorado.

This year’s conference focuses on the theme “Soil, Fire, and Water: A Holistic Investigation of Watershed Health for Working Lands” and will continue the YBR tradition of bringing together local community members, academic researchers, and regional experts for two days of exploration, discussion, and field learning focusing on how attendees can work together to build resilience in the face of the Western climate and water crisis.
